Helen A. "Patricia" Peightel

Helen A. "Patricia" Peightel, 96,  East Dutch Corner Rd. McConnellsburg, PA., died on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in San Marcos, CA. Helen was born in Hagerstown , MD on September 1, 1914, the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Kershner) McCune.  She was the widow of William D. Peightel whom she married on August 22, 1942.  He  preceded her in death on March 30, 2011. Mrs. Peightel was a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church in McConnellsburg, PA.  She was a  homemaker She is survived by her daughter Patricia Abbie Cole, wife of Randolph L. Cole of San Marcos, CA.  She is also  survived by sister Sarah Smith of Severn, MD, brother John  McCune of Hagerstown, MD, and sister JoAnne Ank of Wheaton, MD.  She was preceded in death by a brother David McCune. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at  St. Stephen Catholic Church, McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4th,  with Father Nale and Pastor John Godissart officiating.
