Helen D. Hann

Helen D. Hann, 79, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 26th, at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville, PA.

Helen was born in Big Cove Tannery, PA on March 9, 1942, a daughter of the late Etta M. "Margaret" (Miller) and Virgil  Pittman.  She was the widow of John  E. Hann, whom she married on April 21, 1963 and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2021.

She was of the Brethren faith.  Helen was a homemaker and babysat numerous children over the years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters Kathy (wife of Mike) Fischer, of Cystal Springs, PA, Dreama (wife of Norman) Everts, of McConnellsburg, PA, sons Melvin Hann, of McConnellsburg, PA, Steven Hann, of McConnellsburg, PA, sister Linda (wife of Mike) Harr, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, brothers Jim (husband of Stella) Pittman, of McConnellsburg, PA, and Ray (companion of Susan Moody) Pittman, of McConnellsburg, PA.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, Alenda Fischer, Dylan Everts, Colton Everts and two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son Kevin J. Hann, sisters Olive Mona Jean Younker, Ethel Davis, Mary Ruth Mellott, Alice Golden, Judy Kenney, brothers Robert Pittman, Paul Pittman, Carl Pittman and Larry Pittman

There will be a visitation held on Monday, November 1st, 2021 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM with a visitation being held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, November 2nd,  with Pastor Duane Williams officiating.
