Harold "Sam" Gordon, 91, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the Fulton County Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Sam was born on November 14, 1934, in Cove Gap, PA, to the late Frank and Gertrude (Hull) Gordon.

Sam was known as loving, kind-hearted, hardworking, strong-willed, a great provider, determined man with compassion and generosity to match. He loved attending horse races, NASCAR, watching the Steelers, and classic western films.

In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his siblings Paul, Howard, George, Dewy, Calvin, Leonard, Esther Gordon, and Shirley Knight Gordon; his daughter, Brenda Gordon Holdren; his son, Elmer Gordon; and his daughter-in-law, Patty Fix Gordon.

Sam is survived by his wife, Lorraine Kline Gordon of Harrisonville, PA; his sisters, Betty Gordon Naugle of Greencastle, PA, and Francis Gordon Richard of NC; his children Jackie Gordon of Hagerstown, MD; Tammy (Shane) Gordon Speigle of Harrisonville, PA; and Harold Gordon of Breezewood, PA; and his daughter-in-law, Kim Fleagle Gordon of Chambersburg, PA and his son-in-law, Clemmer "Sam" Holdren of Clarksburg, WV. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Gage (Angelica) Coy of Mercersburg, PA; Skyler (Louie) Speigle and Slade Speigle of Harrisonville, PA; Amber (Brady) Shultz of Coalton, WV; Justin Holdren of Clarksburg, WV; Ryan Gordon of McConnellsburg, PA; and Niki Gordon Cordell (Justin) of Chambersburg, PA. and great-grandchildren: Dakota and Autumn Graham of Coalton, WV; Wade Saldivar of Harrisonville, PA; Darren Shultz of Coalton, WV; Savannah, and Lucas Gordon of McConnellsburg, PA. A special family friend, Alex Graham, of Clarksburg, WV, also survives.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, Rev. Joshua Shadle officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg, PA.
