Harold R. Peck

Harold R. Peck, 92, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro, PA.

Harold was born in Ayr Twp., PA on September 14, 1931, a son of the late Myrtle (Cooper) and James  Peck.  He was the widower of Anna D. (Harr) Peck, who he married on May 29, 1954.  She preceded him in death on April 22, 2015.

Harold drove milk truck and farmed in his younger years, then went to work for the Pennsylvania Turnpike before retiring.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by an infant son Harold Leroy Peck and a sister Helen Peck.

Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 23rd,  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating.  There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow immediately after the service at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Harold may be sent to the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Co., 112 E. Maple St., McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
