Harold E. "Bud" Reed

Harold E. "Bud" Reed, 91, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Saturday, September 26th, at the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit, McConnellsburg, PA. Bud was born in Cito, PA on March 4, 1924, a son of the late Mary  Elizabeth (Hohman) and Charles F. Reed.  He was the widower of Agnes M. (Haverty) Reed, who preceded him in death on January 13, 2010. In his younger years Bud worked as a farmer and livestock dealer before working for the Department of Agriculture as a Meat Inspector.  He was a member of Cito United Methodist Church McConnellsburg, PA . He is survived by  his children Lyle E. (husband of Thelma) Reed of McConnellsburg, PA, Kenny L. Reed of Big Cove Tannery, Pa, and Mary Ann Reed-Over of Duncansville, PA.  He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister Bertha Harris. Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 28th, 2015  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating.   There will be a visitation held an hour before the funeral on Monday at the funeral home.
