Grace W. Shotts

Grace W. Shotts, 85, of Waterfall, PA passed away Monday, October 21st, 2013 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Grace was born in Waterfall, PA on February 15, 1928, the daughter of the late George and Nora (Chestnut) Barnett.  She was the widow of Charles R. Shotts whom she married on October 30, 1948 and he passed away on December 24, 2009. Mrs. Shotts  attended the Fairview United Methodist Church, Harrisonville, PA, was a waitress on the PA Turnpike in her younger years and a homemaker.  She also helped on the family farm and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by Sons Nelson E. Shotts of Ft. Loudon, PA, Warren A. Shotts of Waterfall, PA, Daughter Doris A. Ritchey of Waterfall, PA, seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by an infant son, sisters Merriel Henry, Lois Angle, LaVern Barnett and brother Kenneth Barnett. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11 AM on Friday, October 25th, 2013  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating. Interment at Fairview United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA. There will be visitation on Thursday, October 24th, 2013 from 2 to 8 P.M. at Howard L.
