Grace M. Howell

Grace M. Howell, 96, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at Manor Care Nursing Home, Chambersburg, PA. Grace was born in Morgan County, WV on March 12, 1920, the daughter of the late Mary and Frank  Fox.  She was the widow of Hartford H. Howell. She was a member of the Sideling Hill Christian Church in Needmore, PA and also their Ladies Aide, was a long time member of the Laurel Ridge Christian Church in Big Cove Tannery, PA and was a homemaker.  Grace loved to go to bluegrass festivals and on bus trips.  She also enjoyed making rugs and her flowers. Mrs. Howell is survived by daughters Dorothy G. Peck of McConnellsburg, PA, Marie T. Stevens of Chambersburg, PA, Alice L. Myers of Chambersburg, PA, Peggy L. Wagner of Harrisonville, PA, Bonnie J. Mills of Shippensburg, PA, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by sons Robert E. and Ronald L. Howell, grandson Dennis Wood and three sisters. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 7th, 2016  with Pastor William Swope officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 7th, 2016 from 12 to 2 PM   at Howard L.
