Goldie C. Stains

Goldie C. Stains, 89, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Thursday, January 27th, 2022 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Goldie was born in Maddensville, PA on March 12, 1932, the daughter of the late Irene Elizabeth (Lyter) and Bert Albert Wagner.  She was the widow of Earl V. Stains whom she married on November 27, 1948 and he passed away on January 29, 2013. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Nazarene Church in Waterfall, PA and also had attended the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene in Harrisonville, PA.  Goldie had worked as a Seamstress and a Supervisor at the Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA before working at Hollinshead's Radio Shack and Hometown Furniture where she retired.  Mrs. Stains loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her dogs. Goldie is survived by sons Terry V. (husband of Patricia) Stains, Jr., of Orbisonia, PA, Landis B. (husband of Virginia) Stains, of Mercersburg, PA, Kevin B. (husband of Diane) Stains, of Berkley, MA, Keith B. (husband of Dawn) Stains, of McConnellsburg, PA, Kent B. (husband of Jill) Stains, of Harrisonville, PA, ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.  Goldie was preceded in death by brother John Wagner, Sr. and great grandchild Wade Stains. Services and interment at Mt. Tabor Nazarene Cemetery in Waterfall, PA with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating will be private. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
