Goldie M. Mellott, 93, of Needmore, PA passed away Saturday, October 10th, 2020 at her residence.

Goldie was born in Needmore, PA on June 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Beatrice (DeShong) and Foster  Hollenshead.  She was the widow of Kermit  Mellott.

Mrs. Mellott was a seamstress at Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA and also was a homemaker.  Goldie loved gardening, yard sales, jewelry and spending time with her family.

She is survived by sister-in-law Joanne Hollenshead, of Needmore, PA, great niece Misty (wife of Jason) Carpenter, of Needmore, PA, nieces LuAnne (wife of Bob) Keebaugh, of Needmore, PA, Linda (wife of Bob) Cutchall, of Hustontown, PA, nephew Tom (husband of Anita) Hollenshead, of Needmore, PA, great great nephews Tyler, Clayton  and Dayton and great great niece Payton.  Goldie was preceded in death by brother Claie Hollenshead, sister Rosella Mellott, nephew Joe Hollenshead and niece Marlyn Seburn.

Graveside Service at Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery, Needmore, PA at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020  with Pastor William Swope officiating.  If attending, it is encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
