Gloria J. Fetterhoff 79, of Harrisonville, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Chambersburg, PA. 

Gloria was born on October 2, 1946, in Harrisonville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Wayne D. and Anna M. (Strait) Hollinshead. She was the widow of John H. Fetterhoff Jr., who she married on July 31, 1965. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2006. 

She served as a Postmistress for the United States Postal Service in Harrisonville, PA, until its closing in October 2024. She also owned and operated Hollinshead's Store in Harrisonville, PA, a family business that had been in operation for four generations until its closing in 2020. She was co-owner and cook at Olde Towne Kitchen in McConnellsburg, PA. In her younger years she enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

She is survived by her son, Anthony W. Fetterhoff of Harrisonville, PA; her brother, Allen Hollinshead of McConnellsburg, PA; her sisters-in-law, Linda and Mary Hollinshead; her adopted grandson, Zach Hess; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary and Marlin Hollinshead, and her sister-in-law, Carol Hollinshead.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 15, 2026 at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, with Rev. Joshua Shadle officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be at Sideling Hill Baptist Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
