Gladys B. Lake

Gladys B. Lake, 92, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Thursday, May 4th, 2017 at Pennknoll Village, Everett, PA. Gladys was born in Saluvia, PA on October 9, 1924, the daughter of the late Ida Jane (DiShong) and Howard S. Hann.  She was the wife of Edgar J. Lake whom she married on March 28, 1958. Mrs. Lake was a member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church in McConnellsburg, PA. She had worked at Overly Raker's and the Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA and also was a homemaker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son Danny J. (husband of Carla) Lake, granddaughter Erin J. (wife of Brian) Shafer and great grandchildren Riley D. and Makayley M. Shafer all of Harrisonville, PA.  Preceded in death by seven siblings.  Gladys was the last living member of the Howard Hann family. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 12:00 PM on Monday, May 8th, 2017  with Pastor John Hodge officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 8th, 2017 from 10 AM to 12 PM   at Howard L.
