George H. Lazarus, Jr.

George H. Lazarus, Jr., 70, of Needmore, PA passed away Tuesday, February 21st, 2023 at his residence. George was born in Bethlehem, PA on May 14, 1952, the son of the late Anna M. (Sesko) Lazarus and George H. Lazarus, Sr.  He was the husband of Marilyn J. (Gordon) Lazarus whom he married on February 26, 1977. Mr. Lazarus worked at JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, PA for over twenty years upon retiring in 2017.  George was a very skilled and talented man who was always there to help so many that were in need.  He loved to help his friends and family as he would put those needs before his own. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Josh (husband of Nikki) Lazarus, of Lebanon, PA, Jon (husband of Amanda) Lazarus, of Greencastle, PA, sisters Georgeann Phillips, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Paulette Korr, of Orlando, FL, brother Michael (husband of Leah) Lazarus, of Marlton, NJ, sister-in-law Cindy Lazarus, of Allentown, PA, grandchildren Tori, Taylor, Blake and Eli.  George was preceded in death by his brother Robert Lazarus. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 27th, 2023 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. Graveside services will be private at Antioch Christian Cemetery, in Big Cove Tannery, PA. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
