George S. Hann, Jr.

George S. Hann, Jr. 77, of Fort Littleton, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in Chambersburg, PA.

George was born in Waynesboro, PA on June 9, 1948, a son of the late George S. Hann, Sr. and Marian A. (Martz) Hann. He was the husband of Jolinda S. (Ott) Hann, who he married on November 11, 1967.

As a young father, George dedicated himself to providing for his family through relentless hard work and perseverance. George served as President of George S. Hann & Son, Inc. for over 40 years. He was also a member of Cromwell Lodge #572, a former school board director of Forbes Road School District, and a former trustee at McConnellsburg United Methodist Church where he helped lead the construction of the New Life Center. George was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time with his family and caring for his farm.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter; Aimee J. Brumback,of Berryville, VA, son; Christopher R. (husband of Christian) Hann, of McConnellsburg, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Kacey Hann, Emma Hann, Abby Hann Feaser (wife of Lane), Jacob Hann, Samuel Brumback, Luke Brumback and Ellie Brumback. He was preceded in death by his sister A. Joan Houck.

A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 29, 2025, with Pastor Michelle Price officiating. A limited number of chairs will be provided for the immediate family. If you prefer to have a seat, please consider bringing your own chair.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of George, may be made to the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church 121 N. Second Street MConnellsburg, PA 17233.
