Gary O. Daniels

Gary O. Daniels, 69, of Needmore, PA passed away Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, PA.

Gary was born in McConnellsburg, PA on April 23, 1951, the son of the late Hilda M. (Mellott) and Ira E. Daniels.

He served in the Army National Guard, was a member of the VFW Post #655 in McConnellsburg, PA, the American Legion Post #561 in McConnellsburg, PA and the F.O.E. #4274 in Harrisonville, PA.  Gary drove truck for many years and then worked at JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, PA.  He enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers and spending time with his family and friends.  Gary also loved his dog Rock.

Gary is survived by daughters Starla M. Shugarts, of Needmore, PA, Melinda "Punk" Walls, of McConnellsburg, PA, Cary A. Daniels, of South Carolina, Crystal M. (wife of Gregory) Heiston, of Mercersburg, PA, son Troy A. (husband of Kimberly) Daniels, of Needmore, PA, sister Donna Ramsey, of Warfordsburg, PA, brother Wayne Daniels, of Warfordsburg, PA, fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  Gary was preceded in death by grandson Troy Daniels.

Graveside service at Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery, Needmore, PA at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 8th, 2020  with Pastor William Swope and Pastor Dustin Wink officiating.  If attending, it is encouraged to bring a lawn chair and to follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.

Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
