Franklin D. "Frank" Deshong Jr.

Franklin "Frank"  D. DeShong Jr., 39, of Harrisonville, PA, died Thursday, August 26th, 2010 at the Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Frank  was born in Nuremberg, Germany  on February 12, 1971, the son of  Franklin D. and Donna R. (Brindle) DeShong Sr. of Mercersburg. He was last employed at LamTech Chambersburg, PA..  Frank was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved gardening, farming, cooking, tattoos and spending time with his children. Also surviving him along with his parents are his life long partner of twenty years Tammy Miller of Harrisonville, PA and his daughter Emily D. DeShong of Harrisonville, PA, son Jared B. DeShong of Harrisonville, PA, brother Vincent A. DeShong of Greencastle, PA, sister Heidi Burkett of West Virgina, and sister April N. Pcolinsky of Shippensburg, PA.  He was preceded in death by an infant son Tyler D. DeShong A Memorial Service will be held at the Harrisonville Holiness Church, Harrisonville, PA, at 4:00 PM with one hour of visitation before the service at the church on Thursday, September 2nd,  with Pastor Toby Mellott officiating.
