Estella L. Mellott

Estella L. Mellott, 94, of Needmore, PA, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

Estella was born in Big Cove Tannery, PA on April 30, 1927, a daughter of the late Lena M. (Thomas) and Obed W. Mellott.  She was the widow of Richard M. "Dick" Mellott, whom she married on May 13, 1944.  He preceded her in death on October 4, 2016.

She was a  homemaker and a member of Needmore Bible Church Needmore, PA.

She is survived by her children Carol A. (wife of Percy) Rock, of Greencastle, PA, Richard W. Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, Bobby T. (husband of Betty) Mellott, of Warfordsburg, PA, sisters Blanche (wife of Bill) Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA and Betty (wife of Paul) Mellott, of St. Thomas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Megin Feagley of McConnellsburg, PA, Wendy (wife of Bill) Shope of York, PA, Misty (wife of Wayde) Williams of Everett, PA and great grandchildren Darry Chilcote, Brooklyn Kohr, Kinzey Williams and Storm Williams.  She was preceded in death by a sister Thelma Hauman.

There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, August 3 2021 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, PA.

Funeral services will be held at the Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, PA, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 4th,  with Pastor Doug Poffenberger and Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating.  There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be at Needmore Bible Church Cemetery Needmore, PA.
