Edwin C. "Eddie" Gelvin, Sr.

Edwin C. "Eddie" Gelvin, Sr., 80, of Ft. Littleton, PA passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Born in Ft. Littleton, PA on February 17, 1935, he was the son of the late Beulah L. Fogal and Clarence M. Gelvin.  He was the husband of Mildred E. (Truax) Gelvin whom he married on June 13, 1953. Eddie was a truck driver for many years and retired from Roadway in 1997.  He enjoyed playing music, talking on the CB and being with family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Kathy (wife of Ernie) Seiders of McConnellsburg, PA, sons Ricky C. Gelvin of Waterfall, PA, Mike (husband of Tammy) Gelvin off Hustontown, PA, Boyd W. (husband of Rita) Gelvin of Three Springs, PA, brother Rheon (husband of Patsy) Gelvin of Hustontown, PA, eleven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by son Edwin C. Gelvin, Jr. and an infant sister. Friends are invited for a time of sharing on May 2, 2015 from 1 to 4 PM at Celebration's Unlimited, 27994 Great Cove Road, Ft. Littleton, PA 17223.
