Edward A. Doyle

Edward A. Doyle, 70, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Monday, December 24th, 2018 at his residence.

Edward was born in Chambersburg, PA on April 30, 1948, the son of the late Jacquelyn (Metcalf) Doyle and Norman E. Doyle, Jr.  He was the husband of Lisa A. (Hill) Doyle whom he married on Friday, June 13, 1986.

Mr. Doyle enjoyed hunting for arrow heads, playing pool and ping pong and was very passionate about the American flag.  He also enjoyed spending time with his coffee group, family, friends and his Jack Russell Peggy Sue.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Christie L. (fiance Steve Bricker) Doyle Rice, of Greencastle, PA, son Jesse B.  Doyle, of Harrisburg, PA, grandson Denton C. Rice, of Hampton, VA, sisters Trudy Morton, of McConnellsburg, PA, H. Yvonne Meyers, of Williamson, PA, Tracy Culler, of McConnellsburg, PA, brothers Jeff Doyle, of McConnellsburg, PA, Andy Doyle, of McConnellsburg, PA and Ben Doyle, of Charlottesville, VA.  Edward was preceded in death by sister Pam Toth and brother Max Doyle.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
