Edgar A. Diehl

Edgar A. Diehl, 66, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Monday, November 23rd, 2015 at his residence. Edgar was born in Chambersburg, PA on May 7, 1949, the son of the late Frances Kathern (Munson) and Allen Crown Diehl.  He was the husband of Debbie (Reed) Diehl whom he married on December 15, 1978. He was a member of the Whips Cove United Church of Christ in Warfordsburg, PA, the Faith Assembly of God in Warfordsburg, PA, worked at JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, PA and operated Diehl's Sporting Goods in Warfordsburg, PA.  Edgar also enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Kathy Diehl Smith of Warfordsburg, PA, brothers Victor H. Diehl of Warfordsburg, PA, Dennis D. Diehl, Darrel D. Diehl of Warfordsburg, PA, grandchildren Megan Marie Smith and Felicity Sheyenn Diane Smith both of Warfordsburg, PA. Preceded in death by sisters Denise Crotts, Delilah Hufham, Deborah D. Diehl, brothers Daniel D., David and Duane D. Diehl. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 25th, 2015 from 9 to 11 AM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  The family requests no flowers. Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
