Echo G. Pedersen, 76, of Fort Loudon, PA, passed away on September 28, 2025, in McConnellsburg, PA. Echo was born in Portland, OR on May 26, 1949, a daughter of the late Harry P. and Lois E. (Huffman) Pedersen.

Echo was a strong woman who spent 17 years as a proud Navy wife, raising two daughters and moving across continents while she did so. She loved to work and her independence, bringing a vigorous, disciplined approach to all she attempted. Echo read out entire libraries, maintaining a special fondness for history and biography, Teddy Roosevelt, and all things Godzilla. She had an amazing laugh and shared it freely with friends, family, and colleagues.

She is survived by her children; Dr. Heather Nash of Fort Loudon, PA and Echo G. Woodstock of Tool, TX. She is also survived by brother; Dr. Don Pedersen, sister; Serena Johnston, and brother; Mark Pedersen, all of Portland, OR, and six grandchildren; Jessica, Chris, Josh, Serena, Ryan and Andrew.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on November 28, 2025, at Upton Full Gospel Church in Greencastle, PA. Instead of flowers, please consider donating in her name to Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue at https://www.gentlegiantsdrafthorserescue.org/donate.
