Earl W. Clevenger, 87, of Needmore, PA passed away Sunday, August 27th, 2017 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.
Earl was born in Belfast Township, PA on March 30, 1930, the son of the late S. Edna (Keebaugh) and H. Bruce Clevenger. He was the widower of Mary Jane (Mellott) Clevenger whom he married in 1954 and she passed away in 1996.
Mr. Clevenger was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Needmore, PA, was treasurer for the Needmore Boy Scouts for many years and was a retired toll collector from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
He is survived by sons David (husband of Donna) Clevenger of Massachusetts, Bruce (husband of Christie) Clevenger of Georgia, daughters Donna (wife of Butch) Weller of McConnellsburg, PA, Dora (wife of Russell) Hann of Needmore, PA, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister Hazel Hess, brother Boyd Clevenger and granddaughter Mary Ann Clevenger.
Visitation will be Friday, September 1st, 2017 from 10 to 11 AM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Needmore, PA.
Religious Service at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Needmore, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 1st, 2017 with Pastor Bill Swope officiating.
Interment at Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
