Dorothy Jean (Shockey) Ramsey

Dorothy Jean Ramsey, 73, of Fort Littleton, PA, died Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 at Leisure Living Retirement Home Dorothy was born in Waynesborg, PA on January 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Hobert McKinley and Mary Alice (Newcomer) Shockey. She attended the Dublin Mills Community Church in Hustontown, PA She is survived by her sons Morris Ramsey of Harrisonville, PA, Danny (husband of Robin) Ramsey of Dover, PA, Scott (companion Theresa Seiders) Ramsey of McConnellsburg, PA, and Brian (husband of Suzette) Ramsey of McConnellsburg, PA. She is also survived by her sisters Mariam (Shockey) (wife of Russel) Bender, Elizabeth (Shockey) (husband of Staat) Stymiest, and eight grandchildren,four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by former spouse Morris Bartley Ramsey who passed away on June 16, 2010. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 8th,  with Pastor Sam Stoey officiating. Interment at Antietam Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.
