Dorothy J. Mellott

Dorothy J. Mellott, 62, of Harrisonville, PA, passed away Monday, September 13th, at her residence.

Dorothy was born in Long Island, NY on August 21, 1959, a daughter of the late Dorothy A. (Vetter) and John  J. Crevoiserat.  She was the wife of Russell E. Mellott, whom she married on March 17, 1979.

She retired from Target Distribution in Chambersburg, PA.  Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her husband in his truck when he was doing cross country trucking.  She loved cooking, her family, especially her grandchildren, and being with her friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Chris S. (husband of Melissa) Mellott, of Sun City, AZ, Curt B.(husband of Kim) Mellott, of Fayetteville, PA, daughter Kimberly D. (wife of Robert) Penrod, of Buckeye, AZ, step daughter Gretchen N. Mellott, of Mercersburg, PA, sister Patricia (wife of Ron) Jones, of Daytona, FL and brother-in-law Pete  Thorade.  She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; Damian, Abigail, Joseph, Gabriella, Holden, Alexis, Nicholas, Shelby, Ryan, Braylin and Breez.  She was preceded in death by a sister Margie Thorade.

Services will be private at the convenience of family.
