Dorothy A. Brant

Dorothy A. Brant, 90, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Friday, April 19th, 2013 at Manor Care Nursing Home, Chambersburg, PA. Dorothy was born in McConnellsburg, PA on October 22, 1922, the daughter of the late Conrid and Elmara (Summers) DeShong.  She was the widow of Walter  Brant whom she married in 1952 and he passed away in 1990. She attended the Assembly of God Church in McConnellsburg, PA and worked at the Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA for twelve years as a seamstress Mrs. Brant is survived by Sister Lenore M. Wolfe of McConnellsburg, PA and Brother Donald W. DeShong of McConnellsburg, PA.  Preceded in death by brother Howard DeShong. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
