Donna L. Hendershott

Donna L. Hendershott, 76, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

Donna was born in Buck Valley, PA, on January 22, 1949, a daughter of the late Donald L. and Helen (Leasure) Hendershot. She was the wife of John R. Hendershott, who she married on August 18, 1969.

She worked as a cashier for various stores throughout the area. She attended Rehoboth New Life in Needmore, PA. In her younger years, she worked at Sagner in McConnellsburg, PA, and also worked at McConnellsburg Motor and Implement. Donna enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband while she was able, but most importantly loved her family and Jesus.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Tina (wife of Ronald) Younker, of Hancock, MD, Carrie (wife of Glenn) Morris, of Mercersburg, PA, John W. (husband of Glenda) Hendershott, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, brother; Rick (husband of Jan) Hendershot, of Lititz, PA, sisters; Sharon (wife of Robert) Morris, of Mercersburg, PA, Marcia Keebaugh, of Needmore, PA and Michelle (wife of Calvin) Sipes, of Martinsburg, WV. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Tiffany, Bradley, Grace, Cruz, Kellie, Cadence, Jacob, Canon and three great-grandchildren; Anastasia, Aleksandar and Luke. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Jackson L. Hendershot, Kenneth Hendershot and Ronald Hendershot.

Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 21, 2025, with Pastor Lowell Bard officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
