Donald "Pete" Pepple

Donald L. "Pete" Pepple, 74, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Sunday, December 25th, 2011 at Harrisburg General Hospital, Harrisburg, PA. Donald was born in Bedford County, PA on June 30, 1937, the son of the late George Pepple and Faye (Troutman) Weicht. Mr. Pepple served in the U.S. Marines as a PFC stationed in Japan and was part owner/operator of Pepple's Auction Barn in Harrisonville, PA where he designed The Barnyard Golf minature course. Pete loved auctions, was an auctioneer and his past time was collecting antiques and playing golf. He is survived by Daughter Jody Pepple of Frostburg, MD, Son Jeff Pepple of McConnellsburg, PA, Step-Son Paul Morningstar of McConnellsburg, PA, Sisters Mary and Carol, Brothers Rocky Weicht, Greg  Pepple and Step-grandson Joshua Morningstar.  Preceded in death by brother Ronald. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
