David C. Koontz

David C. Koontz, 81, of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024, at his residence.

David was born in Everett, PA, on March 24, 1943, a son of the late Clair W. and Alberta (Winter) Koontz. He was the husband of Mary V. (Wills) Koontz, who he married on November 29, 2009.

He was dedicated and committed to forty-one years of service at Pizzagalli Properties until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Roger L. (husband of Wanda) Black, daughter Wavy A. (wife of John) Kirk, daughter Alberta C. (wife of Teariki) Brandow, daughter Jenny R. Koontz, and son David C. (husband of Jennifer) Koontz Jr., and his two sisters, Joanne Hollenshead and Kay Anderson. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother Herbert Koontz.

Per David's request, there will be no public services held.
