David L. "Davy" Seiders

David L. "Davy" Seiders, 76, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Friday, August 21st, 2015 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Harrisburg, PA. Davy was born in McConnellsburg, PA on June 23, 1939, the son of the late Iva (Shives) and John J. Seiders.  He was the husband of Betty Jane (Kuhn) Seiders whom he married on April 17, 1999. He attended the Rock Hill Mennonite Church in McConnellsburg, PA where he served as a trustee, was on the board of the Union Cemetery Association in McConnellsburg, PA, was a past bank director of the Fulton County National Bank in McConnellsburg, PA for numerous years and was also a lifelong dairy farmer. In addition to his wife, he is survived by Daughter Teresa A. (companion of Scott Ramsey) Seiders of McConnellsburg, PA, Son David M. (husband of Kimberley) Seiders of McConnellsburg, PA, Step-Sons Dwight D. (husband of Tasha) Skiles of McConnellsburg, PA, Toby L. (husband of Devonna) Skiles of McConnellsburg, PA, Brothers John C. Seiders of Big Cove Tannery, PA, Dean R. Seiders of Burnt Cabins, PA, Sister Ruby Seville of McConnellsburg, PA, Grandchildren Dustin E. (husband of Destiny) Hoffman, Brandin L. (husband of Jessica) Hoffman, David Michael Seiders, Landon A. Seiders, Jackson D. Skiles, Libby F. Skiles, Lane S. Skiles, all of McConnellsburg, PA, Great Grandchildren Fischer Hoffman, Mckenna and Myah Hoffman. Preceded in death by great grandson Dominick Hoffman. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 24th, 2015  with Pastor Sam Sollenberger officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 2 to 8 PM.   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
