Darlene L. Dickinson

Darlene L. Dickinson, 73, of Hustontown, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at UPMC Altoona, Altoona, PA.

Darlene was born in Shade Gap, PA on June 23, 1950, a daughter of the late Bertha M. (Clouser) and Melvin D. "Bill" Covert.  She was the wife of Craig L. Dickinson, who she married on November 17, 1969.

Darlene was a homemaker, which allowed her to raise her children and help raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In her early years she attended the Fair Ridge Assembly of God in Shade Gap, PA.  She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons David L. (husband of Amber) Dickinson, of Three Springs, PA, Brian L. (husband of Trudy) Dickinson, of Three Springs, PA, Rob L. (husband of Danyell) Dickinson, of Hustontown, PA, Mark L. Dickinson, of Cross Keys, PA, brothers Chester  M. (husband of Beverly) Covert, of St. Thomas, PA, Rick L. (husband of Brenda) Covert, of Willow Hill, PA and Kevin D. (husband of Kathryn) Covert, of Shade Gap, PA.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren; Natasha (companion of Travis Myers), David Jr. (husband of Kayla), Seth, Dylan (husband of Gabby), Brianna, Bentlee, Nattalee, Jordan, Kierstyn, Braydon and seven great grandchildren; Sophia, Micah, Paizleigh, Jazzlynn, Zoey, Oakleigh and Kolt.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Walnut Grove Church of God, Three Springs, PA, at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2024  with Pastor Mike Walker officiating.  There will be a visitation  held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service at Walnut Grove Church of God, Three Springs, PA.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family.
