Daniel W. Peck

Daniel W. Peck, 68, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Daniel was born in Berkeley Springs, WV on September 25, 1949, the son of the late Maxine B. (Hill) and Frank M. Peck.  He was the husband of Linda L. (DeShong) Peck whom he married on March 12, 1977.

He was of the Christian faith and was a mechanic at several businesses including Peck Implements in Needmore, PA, P & W Excavating, H.B. Mellott Estates and retired from Smith's Implements in Mercersburg, PA.  After retirement, he was a self-employed mechanic and also plowed snow for Belfast Township.  Daniel enjoyed farming, hunting, his animals and also his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Thomas W. Peck, of Warfordsburg, PA, Dennis B. (husband of Holly) Peck, of Warfordsburg, PA, daughter Misty N. (wife of Jason) Wilt, of Warfordsburg, PA, son William D. (husband of Bobby Jo) Peck, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, sister Barbara B. (wife of Rick) Boyer, of Waynesboro, PA, grandchildren Braden and Landon Peck, Logan and Jaxon Wilt, Abbagail, Ryan and Autumn Peck.  Preceded in death by brother Warren Peck.

Graveside services were private at the convenience of the family.
