Daniel E. Deshong

Daniel E. DeShong, 26, of Hustontown, PA, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 in Hagerstown, MD.

Daniel was born in Chambersburg, Pa on June 10, 1993, a son of Tina M. (Lininger) and Charles Faith of Greencastle, PA and Thomas R. (husband of Cheryl)  DeShong of Hustontown, PA.

Daniel loved his pets, especially his dog "Roxy".  He also enjoyed  working on cars and spending time with his niece (Sydney) and nephew (Carter).

In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by fiancée Kelly Ayers of Hagerstown, MD, sisters Tricia M. (wife of Tyler) Gelvin of Hustontown, PA, Lexi Shore of Acme, PA, brother Calvin Faith (fiancée Ashley McNulty) of Greencastle, PA and maternal grandmother Mary C. "Cack" Earley of McConnellsburg, PA.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Daniel M. and Catherine E. DeShong and maternal grandfathers Edward F. Stevens and Robert Earley.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM. at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM  on Friday, December 6th,  with Pastor William Swope officiating.

Interment will be at Union Cemetery McConnellsburg, PA.
