Dan R. Chamberlain

Dan R. Chamberlain, 74, of Pine Grove, PA and formerly of Wells Tannery, PA passed away Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 at Providence Place Senior Living, Pine Grove, PA

Dan was born in Wells Tannery, PA on November 26, 1943, the son of the late Mary (Guillard) and Mont  Chamberlain.  He was the husband of Nancy F. (Layton) Chamberlain whom he married on June 29, 1969.

Mr. Chamberlain served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Bedford Moose in Bedford, PA, worked as a lineman for the Breezewood Telephone Company and retired from JLG Industries in McConnellsburg, PA in 2009.  Dan enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, NASCAR and was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan.  He also liked John Deere Tractors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Troy D. (husband of Cindy) Chamberlain, of Schuylkill Haven, PA, daughter Kathy J. "Kate" (wife of Travis) Buterbaugh, of Bridgeport, PA, grandsons Casey and Nathan Chamberlain and Kyle Buterbaugh.  Preceded in death by sister Cherie Fix, brothers Jim and John Chamberlain.

Visitation will be Monday, July 2nd, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018  with Pastor Robin Baer officiating.

Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
