Charlotte K. Goetz

Charlotte K. Goetz, 86, of Greencastle, PA, passed away July 5, 2025, in Chambersburg, PA.

Charlotte was born in McConnellsburg, PA on March 8, 1939, a daughter of the late William L. and Ruth A. (Knable) Kuhn.

In her younger years, she worked at McLaughin's Drug Store, in McConnellsburg, PA, Sagner Sewing Factory, in McConnellsburg, PA, then Jim's Tavern, in Greencastle, PA, before going to Grove Manufacturing and later retiring in 2004. Charlotte was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved gardening, especially her flowers. She also volunteered for the Kauffman Ruritan, in Chambersburg, PA.

She is survived by her brother; Denver Kuhn, of McConnellsburg, PA and sister; Martha "Betty" Kuhn, of McConnellsburg, PA. In addition to her brother and sister, she is also survived and loved by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Gladys Youse, Jessie Hayes, Margaret Racila, Bannie "Dimple" Keefer, Georgia "Georgie" DeShong, Marian Mellott, and brothers; William R. Kuhn, Blair Kuhn, Grover Kuhn and infant brother Lee Kuhn.

Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 11,2025, with Pastor Denny Hunsinger officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, monetary donations in memory of Charlotte, may be made to Kauffman Community Center in C/O Treasurer/ Scholarship Fund, 7289 Ruritan Drive Chambersburg, PA. Checks can be payable to Kauffman Community Center.
