Cathy L. Deshong

Cathy L. DeShong, 56, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Sunday, March 8th, 2015 at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Cathy was born in McConnellsburg, PA on February 28, 1959, the daughter of Catherine E. (Buterbaugh) DeShong of McConnellsburg, PA and the late Daniel "Pete" DeShong.  She was the wife of Mark M. Seville. She was a homemaker and also enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by Daughters Melissa D. Seville, Michele N. Seville, Sons Joey R. DeShong, Kelly L. Seville all of McConnellsburg, PA, Step-Daughter Jackie Seville(wife of Tim) Sanders of Curwensville, PA, Sisters Diane Lochte, Lucy Lynch, Bonnie Lynch all of McConnellsburg, PA, Brothers Denny Rhoades of Greencastle, PA, Thomas DeShong, Roy Rhoades both of McConnellsburg, PA, Grandchildren Damon T. DeShong, Briana P. McFadden, Bowen D. McFadden, Jaelyn N. McFadden, Casen E. Black, Step-grandchildren Shianne and Austin Sanders.  Preceded in death by sister Betty J. Lynch. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 12th,  2015 with Pastor Bill Swope officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11th, 2015 from 2 to 8 PM.   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
