Carissa Dawn Weaver

Carissa Dawn Weaver, 8, of Harrisonville, PA was given into Jesus's arms onTuesday, November 3rd, 2015 at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She was born with one half a heart but lived life to the fullest.  She was the beloved daughter of Curvin S. and Sharon S. Weaver. Carissa loved and was loved by her church family at Grace Haven Mennonite Church in Lemasters, PA. In addition to her parents, she will be lovingly missed by two brothers Shawn and Sheldon, four sisters Juanita, Keturah, Jolene and Kaylene all at home, maternal grandparents Walter and Marlene Hurst of Ephrata, PA, paternal grandparents Myron and Anna Mary Weaver of Richland, PA, paternal great grandfather Raymond Weaver of Ephrata, PA, twelve aunts, thirteen uncles and eighty-seven cousins.  She was preceded in death by six cousins. Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., 873 Lincoln Way East, McConnellsburg, PA  17228.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Monday at the church. Funeral service will be Monday, November 9, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Cito United Methodist Church, 3746 Cito Road, McConnellsburg, PA  17233 with Pastor Elijah Yoder, Pastor Larry Bergey and Pastor Mark Stoltzfus officiating. Interment at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.
