Bridget L. (Burrall) Mellott

Bridget L. Mellott, 39, of Harrisonville, PA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2025, after battling cancer for twelve years.

Bridget was born in Bedford, PA, on July 27, 1985, a daughter of W. Diane (Brown) Burrall and the late Edwin W. Burrall. She was the widow of Phillip A. Mellott, who she married on May 26, 2007. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2015.

Bridget loved life. She was employed by various businesses throughout the area. She was loving, strong, courageous, a warrior, and a friend. She was a beautiful person inside and out, challenging and chatty. She handed out smiles and cheers without abandonment and found humor in everything. She loved wildflowers, and had to have ice cream after every Hershey trip. She was an animal lover. She left behind Dixie and Angel, her two overprotective dogs.

In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her son; Westin J. Mellott and step-son Jordan (husband of Emma) Mellott, two grandsons; Kash and Kolt Mellott, that she lovingly adored. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Parker and Wanda Brown and paternal grandparents Monty and Daisy Burrall.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA with Chaplain Bob Murr officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
