Brian F. Tucker

Brian F. Tucker, 80, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Friday, October 16th, 2020 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

Brian was born in Baltimore, MD on April 17, 1940, the son of the late Margaret C. (Scullen) and Bernard F. Tucker, He was the widower of Joyce J. (Frey) Tucker whom he married on May 20, 1967 and she passed away on March 15, 2020.

Mr. Tucker graduated  high school from Baltimore City College and then from the Maryland Institute of Art.  Brian served in the U.S. Navy as a AN(E-3), was a member of the Sideling Hill Christian Church in Needmore, PA where he also was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Fulton County Historical Society and was a graphics designer at Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove, PA from 1973 until retiring in 1998.  Mr. Tucker enjoyed train watching, reading, spending time with his family and he also was a lifelong artist who was known for painting local history.

He is survived by daughter Belinda J. (wife of Randy) Richards, of Harrisonville, PA, son Brandon F. (husband of Deborah) Tucker, of Harrisonville, PA, half-brother Robert  Tucker, granddaughter Alison Tucker, step-grandchildren George Richards, Cody Richards, Whitney Davis and six step-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM at Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church.

Religious Service at Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore, PA, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020  with Pastor William Swope officiating.

Interment at Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery, Needmore, PA.

Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
