Betty P. Remsburg

Betty P. Remsburg, 89, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Monday, November 5th, 2012 at her residence. Betty was born in McConnellsburg, PA on January 13, 1923, the daughter of the late Harmon and Pearl (Colledge) McElhaney.  She was the widow of Carl L. Remsburg who passed away in 1977. Mrs. Remsburg was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in McConnellsburg, PA and worked at the Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA until its closing. She is survived by Son Larry C. Remsburg of McConnellsburg, PA, Brothers Jay McElhaney of McConnellsburg, PA, Charles McElhaney of Chambersburg, PA, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by brother Marvin McElhaney. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 8th, 2012  with Pastor Neil Ray officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Thursday, November 8th, 2012 from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.
