Betty J. Lynch

Betty J. Lynch, 59, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Sunday, September 2nd, 2012 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Betty was born in Berkley Springs, West Virginia on October 3, 1952, the daughter of the late  Daniel DeShong and Catherine (Buterbaugh) Deshong who survives her of McConnellsburg, PA. She was the wife of George E. Lynch whom she married on October 23, 1971 and also was a seamstress and a cook at various places. In addition to her husband and mother, Betty is survived by Sons John J. (husband of Heather) Lynch of McConnellsburg, PA, Brian K. Lynch of McConnellsburg, PA, Sisters Diane Lochte of McConnellsburg, PA, Lucy Lynch of McConnellsburg, PA, Bonnie Lynch of McConnellsburg, PA, Cathy Seville of McConnellsburg, PA, Brothers Denny Rhodes of Greencastle, PA, Roy Rhodes of McConnellsburg, PA, Thomas DeShong of McConnellsburg, PA, Uncle Jack Buterbaugh of McConnellsburg, PA, Grandchildren Evan, Ethan and Carlie Lynch, ten nieces, ten nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 6th, 2012  with Pastor William Swope officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Wednesday, September 5th, 2012 from 2 to 8 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 4 to 8 P.M. at Howard L.
