Betty C. (Knepper) Cunningham

Betty C. Cunningham, 83, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, October 29th, at her residence. . Betty was born in Guilford, Township, Franklin County, PA on April 30, 1932, a daughter of the late Catherine C. (Gsell) and Bruce B. Knepper. She was the wife of Robert L. Cunningham whom she married on May 19, 1956. Betty was a member of McConnellsburg United Methodist Church in McConnellsburg, PA.   She was a LPN at Chambersburg Hospital in her earlier years and then was a homemaker.  She also enjoyed crafts and flowers. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons; Gary N. Cunningham of Lancaster, PA and Tony R. Cunningham of Wernersville, PA,  her brother Leigh E.(husband of Maryann)  Knepper of Chambersburg, PA, two grandchildren Krystal R. Cunningham of Valencia, Venezuela,  and Chelsea J. (wife of Nathaniel) Evry of Gap, PA.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc.,  McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 6th,  with Pastor Robin Baer officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM. at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be one hour of visitation held before the service on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church New Building Fund, 121 North Second Street, Mc Connellsburg, PA 17233.
