Beatrice P. "Bea" Leo

Beatrice P. "Bea" Leo, 90, of Ft. Littleton, PA died peacefully on September 15, 2014 at her residence. Born July 7, 1924 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Paul and Arleta (Orr) Paul.  Bea was preceded in death by her husband Donald F. Leo whom she married June 29, 1946 in Buffalo, NY and he died February 25, 1999 after fifty-two years of marriage, brother John E. Paul, brother and sister-in-law Robert J. and Mildred Leo and nephew Robert D. Leo. She is survived by  her sister-in-law Loraine Paul, her nieces Lauren Paul, Lora Tanner (Lester), Carolyn Huff (Richard), nephew John W. Paul, great nephew Daniel Paul (Janet), great great nephew Alex Paul, great nieces Elizabeth Leo and Katie Brogan. Bea Leo was in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve for four years and worked in the insurance industry until she retired in 1972.  She and her husband moved to Ft. Littleton to spend their retirement enjoying the mountains. She was a member of the Fulton County Medical Center Auxillary, the McConnellsburg Fire Company Auxillary, the Fostick Maston Alumni Association (High School), charter member of the North End Garden Club and a Red Cross Bloodmobile Volunteer for many years. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA with Hospice Chaplain John Winckler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA. Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
