Barry A Mellott

Barry A. Mellott, 71, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Barry was born on May 10, 1953, in Huntingdon, PA. He was the son of the late Robert Lee and Alma R. (Stains) Mellott.

Barry retired from JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, PA, after many years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

He is survived by his three children; Bonnie L (wife of David) McCusker, of Iva, SC, Stacey C. Stem, of Carlisle, PA, Jared T (husband of Stephanie) Mellott, of Chambersburg, PA, brothers; Ronnie (husband of Sue) Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, Lindsay (husband of Viola) Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, Duane Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, Edwin Mellott, of Fort Loudon, PA, sisters; Doreen (wife of John) Smith, of NC and Diane (wife of Edgar) Dunn, of Italy. He is also survived by five grandchildren; Ethan, Janessa, Landon, Isaiah, and Evelyn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gale Mellott, Sr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
