Audrey J. Shotts

Audrey J. Shotts, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away July 26, 2025, at Magnolias of Chambersburg, Chambersburg, PA.

Audrey was born in Harrisonville, PA on October 29, 1927, a daughter of the late H. Sharpe and Virgie Maye (Rouzer) Mumma. She was the wife of Ralph E. Shotts, who she married on May 21, 1947. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2021.

Audrey was a homemaker and also worked as a seamstress at the Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA. She was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church in Harrisonville, PA, where she enjoyed helping at their annual "Ice Cream Festival". Audrey also enjoyed camping, crocheting, quilting, sewing, knitting and gardening. In her younger years, she enjoyed boiling apple butter. She cherished her family and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by daughter; Cheryl Shives, of St. Thomas, PA, daughter; Vicki K. Henry, of McConnellsburg, PA, daughter; Mary Lou DeShong, of McConnellsburg, PA brother; John H. (husband of Mary) Mumma, of McConnellsburg, PA and sister; Dorothy Miller, of McConnellsburg, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren; Kevin Shives, Valerie Runk, Alicia Silcox and Janelle Bitner and great-grandchildren; Brody Wible, Remy Wible, Kirby Wible, Kailey Runk, Hayden Runk, Abby Runk, Kiersten Bitner, Luke Silcox and Claire Silcox. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Harry and Ben Mumma, sister; Joan Mumma and granddaughter; Kimberly D. Wible.

Funeral services will be held at the Fairview United Methodist Church, Harrisonville, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 8, 2025, with Rev. Joshua Shadle officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be at the Fairview United Methodist Cemetery.
