Audie J. Doyle

Audie J. Doyle, 61, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 7th, at Harrisburg Community General Hospital, Harrisburg, PA. Audie was born in McConnellsburg, PA on November 21, 1955, a son of the late Ethel  G. (Mellott) and Walter A. Doyle.  He is survived by his step mother, Betty L. (Mellott) Doyle of McConnellsburg, PA. He worked as a fork lift operator for at Food Lion Distribution  Greencastle, PA for twenty years.  Audie was a very talented artist.  He enjoyed drawing, collecting antiques, various other items and also making canes. Audie was a 1975 graduate of the McConnellsburg High School. .      In addition to his step mother, Audie is survived by a son Steven A. Mellott of Auburn, AL, two sisters, Diana M. (wife of Leslie) Wilson, of McConnellsburg, PA; Angela R. (wife of Bryan) Shatzer, of Chambersburg, PA,  three brothers, Robert L. (husband of Lori) Doyle, of Waynesboro, PA; Larry  A. Doyle, of Slanesville, WV and Steven  L. Doyle, of McConnellsburg, PA.  He is also survived by one grandson. Funeral service will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc.,  McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM with one hour of visitation held before the service at the funeral home on Saturday, June 10, 2017 with Pastor Mac Miller officiating.
