Anna M. Sheffield

Anna M. Sheffield, 89, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Thursday, May 17th, 2018 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

Anna was born in McConnellsburg, PA on August 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Amy (Black) Wolfe Taylor and Michael  Wolfe.  She was the widow of Norman  Sheffield, Sr. whom she married on February 2, 1978 and he passed away in March of 1997.

Mrs. Sheffield was a member of the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church in Shade Gap, PA and in her younger years, she attended the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene in Harrisonville, PA She was a seamstress at the Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA and then worked at the Mt. Brooke Orchard in Edenville, PA.  Anna enjoyed cooking and baking meals for her family.

She is survived by daughters Joyce (wife of Lanson) Stern, of Kensington, OH, Linda (wife of Wallace) Hershey, of McConnellsburg, PA, Stella Keefer, of McConnellsburg, PA, Marsha (wife of Robert, Sr.) McCoy, of McConnellsburg, PA, Mary Waite, of Burnt Cabins, PA, Peggy Bailey, of McConnellsburg, PA, sons Albert "Ike" (husband of Kathy) Heinbaugh, of Harrisonville, PA, Edward "Ed" (husband of Sherry) Heinbaugh, of Harrisonville, PA, Norman (husband of Susan) Sheffield, Jr., of Ft. Littleton, PA, Roger (husband of Ann) Sheffield, of Waterfall, PA, twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by daughter Beverly Swope, sister Alma Jean Hungerford, grandson Robert Hershey,  an infant granddaughter, an infant great grandson and great granddaughter Sophie Heinbaugh.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018 from 10 to 11 AM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.

Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating.

Interment at Fair Ridge Assembly of God Cemetery, Shade Gap, PA.
