Anna D. (Harr) Peck

Anna D. Peck, 79, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 22nd, at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Anna was born in McConnellsburg, PA on July 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Margaret M. (Hann) and William D. Harr.  She was the wife of Harold R. Peck of McConnellsburg, PA., whom she married on May 29, 1954. Anna was a homemaker.  In her earlier years, she attended the Corner Church of the Brethren in Big Cove Tannery, PA.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and listening to music. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters Clara E. Hedrick of McConnellsburg, PA, Dorothy E. Potter of Greencastle, PA, A. Jeannette Mills of Mercersburg, PA, Mary Lou Forsythe of Mapleton Depot, PA, Cindy K. Loudin of Hagerstown, MD, Florence W. Wilds of Andreas, PA and a brother John B. Harr of McConnellsburg, PA.  She was preceded in death by an infant son Harold Leroy Peck,  sisters Hazel M. Harr, Bonita E. Hemphill and brother Dayton Harr Funeral service will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA ,  at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 25th,  with Pastor Bill Bair officiating. Visitation will be Friday 4 to 8 PM.  at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be one hour of visitation held before the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
