Ameon V. Hann

Ameon V. Hann, 70, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Thursday, April 6th, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. Ameon was born in Harrisonville, PA on March 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Bernice M. (Bishop) and George T. Hollinshead.  She was the wife of Richard H. "Dick" Hann whom she married on September 4, 1965. Mrs. Hann was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Harrisonville, PA and was a homemaker.  Ameon enjoyed gardening especially her flowers, crossword puzzles, crocheting, traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed Bible studies on the computer and studying the "Daily Bread". In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter Crystal A. Hann of Chambersburg, PA, brothers Curtis (husband of Jeanne) Hollinshead of Harrisonville, PA, Sherwin (husband of Betty) Hollinshead of McConnellsburg, PA, Connie (husband of Claire) Hollinshead of Harrisonville, PA, sister Joyce Shadle of Harrisonville, PA, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by son Brandon R. Hann and brother Arvine Hollinshead. Graveside service at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 10th, 2017  with Pastor Donald Bard officiating.
