Robert L. "Bob" Garlock

 Robert L. "Bob" Garlock, 90, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Monday, November 11th, 2019 at his residence.

     Bob was born in McConnellsburg, PA on October 12, 1929, the son of the late Helen (Gogley) and Marl H. Garlock.  He was the husband of Donna D. (DeShong ) Garlock whom he married on January 10, 1954.

     Mr. Garlock was a graduate of Carson Long Military Academy in New Bloomfield, PA and served four years in the U.S. Air Force.  He was a member of the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, the Jaffa Shrine in Altoona, PA, the George Washington Masonic Lodge #143 in Chambersburg, PA, the Antique Automobile Club of America, a fifty year member of the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company, lifetime member of the Historical Society, lifetime member of the Fulton County Pistol and Rifle Club and a lifetime member of the NRA.  Bob also was an avid hunter and a former Fulton County Commissioner.

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Michael P. (husband of Kristy) Garlock, of McConnellsburg, PA, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Bob was preceded in death by sister Mary Lou Callabria, brothers Richard, John, Marl, Jr., Joseph and Patrick Garlock.

     Visitation will be Thursday, November 14th, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA with a Masonic Service being held at 7:30 PM.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home.

     Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 15th, 2019  with Rev. Joshua W. Davinsizer officiating.

     Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.

     Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
