Raymond "Duff" Barclay, Sr.

Raymond "Duff" Barclay, Sr., 71, of Beaver, PA, passed away Friday, May 10th, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, PA.

     Duff was born in Rochester, PA on April 24, 1948, a son of the late Delores (Hoyt) Barclay and Donald W. Barclay, Sr.  He was the husband of Dee  (Bonner) Barclay, his devoted wife of almost forty years.

     Duff was a 1967 graduate of Beaver High School and a retired steel worker.  During his life, Duff enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating on the river and gardening.  He also loved the beach, going to Las Vegas and was an avid Steelers fan. Duff will always be remembered for entertaining his family and friends with great picnics, parties, his famous sayings and how he could make everyone laugh.

      In addition to his wife, Duff is survived by his son Raymond Duff (husband of Judith) Barclay, Jr., of Burlington, NJ; daughter Hallie B. (companion of Darrin Smith) Rhoat, of Harrisonville, PA; step daughter Stephanie P. Komo, of Midland, PA; brother Donald W. (husband of Cathy) Barclay, Jr., of Forest, VA; sister Marnee D. (wife of James) McClinton, of Aiken, SC; brother Brent M. (husband of Ruth) Barclay, of Aiken, SC; sister Barbara White, of Thousand Oaks, CA and sister Kathy Barclay, of Canton, GA.  He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a step son Michael J. Komo and a brother in law Greg White.

     The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ann-Marie Ray, his caring PCP, CCU, Cardio and Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital.
