Larry C. Remsburg

 Larry C. Remsburg, 72, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Saturday, July 6th, at his residence.

     Larry was born in Warfordsburg, PA on February 24, 1947, a son of the late Betty P. (McElhaney) and Carl L. Remsburg.  He is survived by his companion of twenty two years, Judy K. Hampton of McConnellsburg, PA. 

      Larry was a graduate of the McConnellsburg High School, Class of 1965.  He also served in the United States Army Reserves for six years.  Larry was the owner/operator of L & L Auto Sales and Remsburg Service Center in McConnellsburg, PA.  Larry had a love of vehicles but Chevy's were by far his favorite.  He also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and getting cars ready for and participating in demolition derbies.  He also was an avid coon hunter, he was always ready to go when someone would ask.  He loved all his coon hounds and his house dogs; Abby, Duke and Daisy.

     In addition to his companion Judy, he is survived by his daughter Charlotte J. Remsburg, of McConnellsburg, PA, daughter Carla J. (companion of Gary Frank, Jr.) Remsburg, of Shade Gap, PA, son Chad J. (husband of Nicole) Remsburg, of McConnellsburg, PA, step daughter Meghan D. (wife of Louis) Cruz, of Miami, FL and step son Brian E. (husband of Rosario) Hampton, of Blackwood, NJ.  He is also survived by four grandchildren and four step grandchildren.

     There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 4 PM till 8 PM. at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.

     Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 10th,  with Pastor Richard Egolf officiating.   There will also be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Wednesday.

     Interment will be at Union Cemetery McConnellsburg, PA.
